G6 Series of Survival Tools
My G6 series of knives and tools are handmade also. But I do have the blanks waterjet or lazer cut , to help keep the costs down for the customer. Thats it , all other work is done by me with my two hands.
G6-SK (Survival Knife)
The G6-Sk is made from durable 1095 High Carbon Steel 3/16" thick, its OAL is 7 1/2"
Its flat ground 3" blade is plenty big for most camp cutting needs.
The handles are made from multicolored G10 fiberglass laminate.
The handle also contains a 3" Ferro Cerium Fire Steel. Use the back of the blade to scrape against the fire steel to produce a shower of hot sparks.
The handle is designed to adapt itself to being lashed to a long stick, for making a spear. And to aid in keeping a firm grip.
The Sheath is made from Kydex, a heat moldable, durable plastic. Each sheath is formed to each individual knife to ensure it keeps you safe when your not using it , and secure so you dont lose it.
The mounting system on the sheath is designed for Multi-Carry , and can be carried in any position, on any side. It makes the knife completely amedextrious, and will accept Molle or Small Tech Lock attachments.

This makes for easy one hand removal and replacement , to and from the sheath. No more fumbling to get the knife back in the sheath with two hands , risking a cut or injury.
